The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, organised, highly motivated and a self-starter who is comfortable working with limited supervision and juggle lots of projects at one time. He/she must exhibit good business knowledge evidenced by a high level of integrity, have a clear understanding of the importance of process and ability to deal with complex details with ambiguity. He/she must be able to focus on achieving priorities in an organised manner and have demonstrated ability to handle multiple activities. Must be able to work independently but also be team oriented. POSITION OVERVIEW The Inventory Administrator will work alongside the Inventory Team to accurately process, input and maintain control of all Europe, Middle East and Africa inventory activity at remote plants and warehouses. Detailed & Meticulous • Well organized, shows high attention to detail in their work • Takes time to make sure that things are right • Organised and punctual • Demonstrates personal responsibility for their performance Effective • Demonstrates strong process in all of their work • Produces consistently great outcomes and always seeks to improve • Passionate and evidences high commitment – not controlled by the clock • Excited by and adapts quickly to change Resourceful • Demonstrates flexibility when faced with challenges, balanced by the need to maintain good process Passionate • Is consistently persuasive and enthusiastic with suppliers and the team • Exhibits personal commitment and strong personal values in all their dealings with suppliers and the team KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Duties and Responsibilities: • Processes inventory transactions in SAP to drive inventory accuracy and financial reporting. • Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies versus documentation and corrects them in SAP in real time. • Monitors and reports on inventory activities. • Working in synergy within the operations team to resolve inventory issues and deliver business objectives. • Supports the finance team in all aspects of system reconciliation. • Supports the Inventory and wider operations team to aid meeting financial Month End / Quarter End / Year End deadlines EXPERIENCE AND ATTITUDE Essential • Good knowledge of MS office, Excel, Word and Outlook. • Methodical and being able to demonstrate attention to detail is an absolute must! • Comfortable working alongside and communicating at all level of decision makers. • Have an affinity or desire to work in a growing, dynamic and non-corporate environment, driven by fast informed decision making, processes and systems. • A grafter who will do what it takes to drive and deliver success for the business. Desirable • SAP experience is advantageous (Inventory Management) • Supply Chain, Logistics or Warehousing experience • Inventory/Stock Control experience • Bilingual Axis is a recruitment agency .
