I am working with a Leading Supply Company in the Wirral area who are seeking to recruit a Head of Compliance to oversee their sales team as well as the operations of external teams. This role also involves working alongside the Fulfilment function and ensuring sales follow the process through to completion and invoicing.
The candidate must have a strong ethos and character to gain instant respect from team members. You must be able to adapt in a very fast paced environments and address the daily issues that arise with having operatives at various locations around the country on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Establishing and maintaining personal portfolio of customers
  • Generating sales in accordance with the performance targets set for you and your department by the Company, whilst maintaining the required profit margins
  • Identifying and presenting opportunities to the Company to develop larger and Company-wide targets into which the full portfolio of services may be
  • Working with the Compliance and FM and Management, Install and our Roofing/ Cladding division to ensure that all joint opportunities are developed to their full potential
  • Recruitment of Business Development Managers who fit in to the Company as and when required, with the ethos to maximize the enquiries and opportunities available to the Company
  • Developing and delivering a training and monitoring plan for all Sales
  • Developing, along with the Directors, proven sales systems and KPI’s to ensure that the Company does not suffer wastage in the Sales function, and staff underperformance may be detected
  • Monitoring staff performance against established KPI’s to ensure adherence to expected behaviours
  • Establishing a Company-wide target for key (larger) accounts; establish a plan for the staffing and targeting of these; agree with the Finance and Commercial Directors a monitoring program
  • Establishing relationships with key suppliers, existing and new, and explore new service areas
  • Undertaking client visits for your own and for wider Company clients
  • Ensuring all existing and potential client data obtained by way of day to day activities is recorded in the relevant Company systems
  • Ensuring all Company processes and policies are adhered to
  • Utilisation of diaries to ensure full visibility of daily activities for yourself, your team and company wide
