Axis Recruitment is all about People – those that work for the company and those that we work with. The team isn’t all about recruitment though – they have a diverse job background which enables them to understand employer and employee needs.
Aaron Wilton-King is a consultant at Axis Recruitment but previously he had 8 years working for Bank of America. Banking to recruitment might not seem an obvious step but when looking for a new venture in life, he soon found that many of the skills he had developed at the bank such as attention to detail, being in a process driven and results driven environment, were transferable to another industry. Indeed, his in-depth knowledge of Financial Services meant he was well equipped to advise others in that industry on their recruitment needs or change of employer.
Glen Walsh, Managing Director of Axis Recruitment said “Our objective is to help others find their perfect role. So by hiring those with field experience, we are offering our clients the highest standard in recruitment search. It is important to look outside the box as there’s a good chance the skills you have can open up new opportunities.”
Aaron Wilton-King at Axis Recruitment says “I never thought that I could use my banking knowledge in such a different way and I was tending to look for the same type of job. However, over time, and through talking to others I realised my skills, such as a focus on providing the highest level of customer service, is so important to many businesses and is certainly what we look to provide at Axis. I am so glad I made the change and I am pleased I have helped many financial services people and organisations with their career opportunities – no doubt comfortable that I have insiders experience of their industry.”
Axis specialises in financial services and also commercial recruitment, engineering, accountancy, IT, Marketing and Direct Sales. If you think they can help you or your company, call them on 01244 404 800 or visit www.axisrecruitment.co.uk
